RECOMMENDATION LETTERS -770PRODUCTIONS
Julie MacDonald, Managing Director, Clanmac Media LtD, UK
" Working with Dror and his team has been an absolute pleasure. Under tight timescales and with a very scant brief, Dror carefully planned an executed a challenging shoot, filming sensitively and beautifully the stories of patients fighting pancreatic cancer. Hand holding the clients, working with the hospital staff and patients on location, Dror delivered a series of powerful interviews, allowing these patients to tell their stories. I can't recommend Dror and his team enough."
Sandi DuBowski, Director of Rabbi and Trembling Before G-D, NYC
Rabbi follows the dramatic life story of Rabbi Amichai Lau-Lavie, a 21st century spiritual innovator for our skeptical, secular digital generation. The movie is being simultaneously shot in NYC and Jerusalem and I am based in NYC. Dror and his Israeli production company have been a trusted and key resource for us in Israel. Dror himself is a extremely talented cinematographer. I have been very impressed with his DP work and also rely on him to hire top-notch film crew in Jerusalem and offer production services, navigate sensitive shooting and make key connections. He is very professional, detail-oriented, super responsive, and I highly and happily recommend him.
Rabbi Yechiel Cagen “My Encounter with the Rebbe”, Director, NY
In the last 10 years Dror and 770 Productions Israel has filmed more than 300 interviews for JEM's My Encounter with the (Lubavitcher) Rebbe oral history project. Some of the interviews included Israel's President Simon Peres, Efraim Halevi (Mossad former chief), Yitzhak Herzog (head of Israeli Labor Party) chief rabbis, ministers, mayors and more.
Dror works on a high level cameraman and anytime that I need an interview done, he came through in an impressive fashion.
I have always been very happy with his work. I would highly recommend him for anyone that needs to film in Israel .
Wendla Nolle, a Berlin based award winning commercial and documentary director, ARTE, Germany
'Kurzschluss- Court Circuit' is a program about the short film scene worldwide aired in ARTE. In Israel we shot three pieces: a portrait about Nadav Lapid and his new short film, a portrait about Yehonatan Indursky and documentary about the Ultra-orthodox women track of the Maale film school.
Dror was my cinematographer, he helped me find a great film crew in Israel, supplied me with gear and a vehicle and was helpful in all aspects of production. I was very happy with his service and his communication. The crew was very efficient, professional and reliable. I would be very happy to collaborate with them again. Dror’s visual style is absolutely beautiful and creative and he is very sensitive to what happens in front of the camera."
Jeremy Newberger, CEO, Ironbound Films, NY
"Over the last few years, we have used Dror and 770 Productions Israel as our production company and representative in Israel. We shot a documentary for Cisco currently manufacturing a bra that detects breast cancer. We also shot a documentary about American Jewish baseball players visiting Israel for the first time and connecting with their Jewish roots. We felt very safe in the hands of 770 Production. They are very professional and reliable. We would be delighted to collaborate with them again."

"I have worked with Dror since 2006 and seen the tenacity of his work under tough circumstances. I have seen his deep commitment to 'getting it right' whether it be capturing stunning b-roll or setting up a scene with minimal means and still making it look amazingly beautiful, unique, cinematic and very artistic. I have highly recommended Dror as a director of photography to my colleagues."
